THE BEACH It’s our front yard. A stadium for all sorts of fun and games, from hilarious family beach cricket to serious Iron Man competitions. Host to fairs, markets and kite festivals that turn the skies into a riot of colour.

CLIFF-HUGGING OCEAN WALK One of Sydney’s most spectacular walks. With rock pools rich in marine life, weathered rocky platforms, rugged cliffs, heathlands, not to mention a brooding cliff-top cemetery.

ENDLESS EAT STREETS Coogee Beach is dotted with laid-back, likeable cafes and restaurants (35 at last count!), serving up every conceivable cuisine. And all refreshingly free of designer interiorsand style-police customers.

ICONIC WYLIE’S BATHS An idyllic 100 year old ocean pool nestled amongst the rocky shoreline. The massive wooden sundeck precariously suspended from Coogee's cliff face. It's like swimming in an aquarium brimming with sea-life, where lapping free-stylers disturb schools of colourful fish.

LADIES ONLY BATHS A women’s and children’s pool for over 70 years. Here you’ll find a broad cross-section of women, aged from eight to eighty.

SPECTACTOR SPORTS Major sporting events are just a 10 minute bus or car ride away. There’s Randwick Racecourse for the punters, the Sydney Football Stadium for footy fans of all codes, the Sydney Cricket Ground, and five outstanding golf courses.

DIY SPORTS If you prefer your sport hands-on, the possibilities are endless. On the water, you can fish, surf, snorkel or follow the underwater diving path in Gordon’s Bay. There are tennis courts, football fields, cricket pitches, gyms and 7 golf courses a short drive away. You can box, join the joggers or a bootcamp.

HISTORICAL WALKING TOUR Allow Coogee Cooee to take you on a leisurely, informative and interesting walk around Coogee. Touch the sandstone, smell and taste the salt air while listening to the stories of the characters and events from yesteryear.

THE SURF SCHOOL At Let's Go Surfing, the dedicated, fully-qualified staff can help you catch the wave of your dreams, whether it's your first time setting foot in the ocean or you're a surf fanatic looking to ride the big one.

CENTENNIAL PARK The people’s park since 1880, Centennial Park is host to all sorts of activities. It has horseriding, cycling and rollerblading tracks, picnic and barbeque areas, and sporting fields. As well as a cafe and restaurant where you can eat, relax and enjoy the birds, bees and trees.

FOX STUDIOS A full-on studio complex where major movies such as Shine, Mission Impossible, The Matrix, The Red Planet, Babe, Star Wars II Trilogy and Moulin Rouge have been filmed. You can take in a movie (16 state of the art screens), shop till you drop, pub crawl or chomp your way around Fox. Maybe spot a star.
